| Cast bronze is an incredibly mystical and primordial process. I create a sculpture using fragile, combustible materials such as wax, soft wood, leaves, and paper. A mold is built up around the forms. The sculpture is burnt away. It exists only in the negative. Molten bronze is poured into the mold and the sculpture is forever. | |||
